Brief
After lockdown hit, the client found themselves working from home most of the time on a makeshift desk in the kitchen. They had an old summer house in the garden that was falling apart and not fit for purpose. So, they asked us to design and build a proper garden room office, something that would tick all the boxes for their new work-from-home life and that included a loo, so their new office was all self-contained.
Work
Getting the foundations right was particularly challenging here, we had to sort out drainage and soil pipes, connect everything to the mains sewerage and water, and get all the electrics and data cables in place. After we had cleared the old summer house and got the foundations in place, the new office came together really well, and we’re delighted with the finished room.
