Brief
The client recently moved to Radlett, and as a Yoga and Pilates instructor, needed a special space to provide a tranquil area for her and her clients. The rear of the garden was very secluded with a wooded area and stream running through it – providing the perfect spot for her retreat.
Work
Collaborating closely with the client, we designed a tranquil space that perfectly met their needs. Prioritising natural light, we carefully selected the ideal location and orientation to maximize daylight. To further enhance the connection with nature, we incorporated panoramic windows at the rear, which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape and create a sense of openness and spaciousness. Green-stained redwood cladding provides a warm and natural finish, evoking the feeling of a peaceful forest retreat.
